Coco Cabana Cafe Manchester Review
We love nothing more than trying new cafes in Manchester. If we can grab a bite to eat while doing some work then we are there and normally buying way too much hot chocolate. If you’re a digital nomad or just want to do remote work, we have some of the best cafes for you. Click here to see The Best Places To Work Remotely In Manchester City Centre.
We decided to head to Coco Cabana after hearing such great things about the cafe although we won’t lie, our opinions were a little mixed and we weren’t really sure what to think when we left, take a look below why.

Coco Cabana Cafe Manchester
We’d heard all about the fancy and over the top hot chocolates and other drinks at Coco Cabana and their amazing food so of course we wanted to check them out, when we got there however we noticed some things didn’t sit right with us.
We aren’t sure if it’s because we were the only customers in the store but we found none of their cakes that were on offer were covered. You might be thinking, what’s the issue here? We had a fly buzzing near us for the entire time we visited and I’d hate to think how many flies had landed on the cakes, despite how delicious they looked we didn’t get any.
Coco Cabana Food
We didn’t actually sample any of the food at Coco Cabana Manchester as we were a little worried about the cakes as they weren’t covered from the elements like dust and bugs that could settle onto them. However, with that being said they did offer a whole range of cakes and other goodies that looked delicious.
Coco Cabana Drinks
The drinks at Coco Cabana Manchester were delicious. That being said, a lot of people have raved about how fancy they look, how over the top they are so we were a little deflated when these two rather small glasses of hot chocolate came out with a couple of large marshmallows and some cream so we felt a little robbed.
As you can see from the pictures there’s not a lot of hot chocolate for the money spent and they were a little light on the rich chocolate flavour we’d heard about. We wouldn’t buy them again that’s for sure.

Coco Cabana Manchester Review
Would we recommend Coco Cabana? Not really. We would love to visit again and see how things have changed, hopefully for the better but at the same time we’d rather try new cafes in Manchester and this one goes to the bottom of our re-visit list.
