The Ultimate Guide For Being Plus Sized Disney World
EPCOT Plus Size
If you’re plus size and visiting EPCOT, you’ll be happy to know that a lot of their rides are accessible and quite fun. EPCOT however, is more focused on travelling the world, trying great food from each location and having fun. It’s the park that adults go to as you can get alcohol.
EPCOT has some of the best snacks, shows and character meets. If you visit you might find yourself doing so much you forget about the rides altogether.

EPCOT Plus Size Rides
Take a look at all the EPCOT rides below and see which ones best suit you. Some of them will be great although some will have limitations that restrict who can go onto the rides. If you’re ever unsure if EPCOT rides are ok for bigger people, check with a cast member.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Although one of the most popular rides, it’s the worst ride for plus-size people. There is bench seating which has middle sections between the seats which makes it uncomfortable or too small for plus-size people or people with wider hips.
- Spaceship Earth. One of the more comfortable rides. There is bench seating which is more than enough room for two plus-sized people and plenty of leg room.
- Test Track. Individual seats for the ride, it’s just like sitting in a car, maybe a little snug for bigger people.
- Soarin’ Around The World. Individual seats with a buckle-in. It’s a 3D adventure, okay for most plus-size people.
- Frozen Ever After. A long wait time but worth it. Each bench can seat up to 4 people, with lots of room for two plus-size people. Request this from a cast member.
- Gran Fiesta Tour. Bench seating, lots of room.
- Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmis Rewind. Slightly bigger moulded seats with a pulldown lap bar. May be unsuitable for some plus-size people but will fit most.
- Imagination! Slow-moving car with bench seating. The front bench fits two adults, the back bench fits 3.
- Living With The Land. Spacious bench seating. It is a boat which can make it difficult for people to get on that have walking aids.
- The Seas With Nemo and Friends. Bench seat with a lap bar that goes down as far as it can so not restricting. Each car holds two people, lots of room.
- Mission: SPACE. This ride is a tight fit with minimal extra space. It has individual seating with a safety bar that comes down over your chest.
Remember, if you’re ever unsure or if the ride looks like it will only fit 2 people from your party, request this from a cast member so they can guide you to the right area.
