Plus Size Rides At Hollywood Studios Orlando
Hollywood Studios in Florida was one of our favourite parks, that being said we didn’t actually manage to get on many rides, there were too many characters for us to meet and too much to do so when we go back we’ll make sure we try all the ones that we can get on.

Plus Size Hollywood Studios Florida
If you’re plus size at Hollywood Studios you’ll still find lots to do. There are loads of attractions and rides worth visiting. Take a look at our notes below to find the best ones for you.
Hollywood Studios Plus Size Rides Orlando
- Slinky Dog Dash. Has moulded seats, and it has a lap bar which can make the ride uncomfortable but other than that it’s great for a bigger passenger.
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Can be uncomfortable for people wide wide hips as it’s a row of seats for 8. Seatbelts which fit well.
- Star Tours The Adventure Continues. Individual seats and middle sections cannot be moved and have seatbelts, which may be uncomfortable for plus-size people.
- Alien Swirling Saucers. Larger bench seating with a larger and longer seatbelt. Great for plus size users.
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. There are 6 seats per cabin. Enough room and leg room for plus size people. Just be sure to pay attention to what’s around you. The ride has seatbelts which are plus size friendly.
- The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror. Individual seat belts and handles to hold onto although bench seating. May be uncomfortable for plus size people so check with a cast member before riding.
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. This ride has chest restraints which tightly buckle into the seat as this roller coaster goes upside down. The seats are moulded to give extra security but this ride may not be suitable for plus size people.
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. There is minimal leg room but the seating car is big enough for 32 passengers and gives enough room for plus size people.
Hollywood Studios Florida Plus Size Attractions
- Muppet*Vision 3D. Theatre seating which can be restrictive to some people, there are no seatbelts. It also isn’t that good so we’d not go back.
- Micket Shorts Theater. The theatre seating can be restrictive for plus size people.
- Beauty and the Beast Live On Stage. Row seats, however, you will get told to move all the way to the left so you may have to wait for an end seat if you want more leg room. The staff who tell you to move can get very rude so it’s easier to just agree or wait.
- Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. Benches that are suitable for all.
- For the First Time In Forever. A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. Theatre seating, has minimal leg room and can be a little uncomfortable for plus size people.
- Voyage of the Little Mermaid. The theatre seating can be restrictive for plus size people.
- Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular! Bench seating, lots of room unless you have loads of bags.
